My name is Rachel Burkett (Ms. Rachel), and I am so excited to be joining Loomis Union School District's counseling team! I am truly passionate about providing individual, small group, and classroom lessons to students.  I love being a safe space for students in need of support. I am an advocate for students and families, and strongly believe that all students can be successful by identifying and building upon their strengths.  

I have my Master's of Education in School Counseling from University of Southern California (fight on, Trojans!) and a PPS-School Counseling credential. I also earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Arizona State University after attending Sierra College and receiving degrees in Psychology and Social and Behavioral Sciences.  Prior to joining Loomis Union School District, I worked as a comprehensive middle school counselor in Auburn.
