About Miss Grapel:

Hello all! My name is Alayna Grapel and I joined LUSD and Placer Elementary School in 2021. I am excited to be a Miner!

 

I was born and raised in Grass Valley. I coached gymnastics all throughout high school and college and that is when my love for working with children began. I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Long Beach State University. Before moving to Roseville I taught at schools in Nevada County and Orange County, and have worked in grades ranging from Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. 

 

Reading and Math are two of my favorite subjects! I look forward to meeting everyone and working with students of all grade levels.
