About Me

Hello!

My name is Micaela Birdseye and I started as the RSP teacher at Placer Elementary School in 2021. I graduated with my bachelors in Child Development in 2010 from CSU, Chico and started teaching in 2014. I am so excited to be a part of such an amazing community here at Placer Elementary!

I grew up in a small farm town in the delta before I moved to Chico to attend college. I met my husband while in college and we now have two beautiful little boys. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, taking weekend trips around Northern California, and working out.
