Placer School celebrated the "Read Across America" Program and Dr. Seuss's Birthday! Several teachers had guest readers like parents, siblings, grandparents, staff members and our own Mr. Judd who delightfully read books, like "The Cat in the Hat", "One Fish, Blue Fish", and "Green Eggs and Ham"! Lots of students and staff wore the famous red and white hat made famous by the Cat in the Hat! Please click above to enjoy some memorable photos!
Our Kindergarten Class visited the Sacramento Children's Museum a couple of days ago. They had no idea how much they were learning from participating in all the fun activities. There was an Art Room where they could draw and paint using watercolors, pastel crayons and oils. There was a Dress Up Area where the children could try on outfits that are worn from different career choices like firemen, policemen, doctors, nurses and even if you wanted to be a royal princess. For a lot of the students, this was their first bus ride and it was so exciting for them. Click above to enjoy some exciting moments from their adventure!
On January 26th, Mrs. Dales class celebrated our 100th Day Of School with many fun activities.
