Solar Eclipse Experience at Placer School!

Welcome Back! First Day of School is Thursday, August 10th!

Welcome Back! We hope you had an incredibly fun filled Summer Break and are ready for an awesome 2017 - 2018 School Year. School hours are 8:20 - 2:20 pm. PTC (Parent Teacher Club) is sponsoring our annual "Welcome Back BBQ" which will be held on Tuesday, August 8th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. This is also the "Back to School Night" for the TK and Kindergarten Classes. If you have any questions, you may contact the School Office at 916-652-1830.

Kindergartners Celebrate English Tradition!

Mrs. Haller's and Mrs. Ross's classes participated in the British tradition of a formal tea. The students created beautifully decorated hats for their mothers. Scones, muffins and tea sandwiches were some of the delicious food items served. A great time was had by all! Click above to enjoy some photos of the event!

8th Grade Graduation Schedules

5/31 - Sunsplash Field Trip - 9:30 - 3:00.
6/1 - 8th Grade Graduation Practice - Del Oro Stadium - 8:45 - 11:00 - Parent
drops off student. Bus will return students back to campus.
6/1 - 6:30 - Students arrive for ceremony.
6/1 - 7:00 - Promotion Ceremony begins - Del Oro Stadium
6/1 - 8:00 - 10:30 - Dance at Del Oro - Cafeteria
6/2 - Minimum Day - 8th Grade Breakfast (Mr. Judd) - Cafeteria

"Go the Distance" Event - May 12th-13th - Sponsored bt LBEF

Our "Go the Distance" Event is a 24 hour relay race where the goal is to raise awareness about the positive impact health and fitness has on our kids, while raising funds to help support future Loomis Union School District programs. It is held at Del Oro High School Campus and Placer will be represented by parents, staff, students and several 7th & 8th Grade Teams organized by our own Dr. Hitchcock.
