Attention Del Oro Future Freshman

Hi Future Golden Eagle Families!
The first step in becoming a Del Oro student is the enrollment process. In order to enroll your incoming freshman, you will need to follow the directions for New Student Enrollment. Be sure to have all of the required documents (explained below) accessible and ready to attach. All of the documents must be submitted along with the enrollment form in order for your student’s enrollment to be complete.
The required documents for New Student Enrollment include:

A completed Residence Verification Form with two forms of verification as proof

Student immunization records (personal beliefs waiver no longer accepted)

Student birth certificate, passport, birth record, baptism certificate, or affidavit

Student’s current IEP or 504 Plan - (this is only needed for students with a current IEP or 504 Plan)


When you have all of these documents on hand, fill out the online enrollment form for your student - attaching all of the necessary documents - and submit. You will have just completed the first step!

Families with incoming TK or Kindergarten students are invited to attend our informational night at H. Clarke Powers School on February 4, 2025, 6:30pm. Join us to learn more about our programs and how to prepare for the upcoming school year!

The Loomis Basin Education Foundation, (L.B.E.F.) exists to improve the overall educational experience of students in the Loomis Union School District, (LUSD) by supplementing academic and enrichment programs while supporting the district’s strategic plan. We are able to extend grants to the LUSD by hosting community events and receiving donations from LUSD families and community businesses. Click above for upcoming events!

DAD'S WE NEED YOU! Placer Miner Watch Program

Miner Watch Program are enthusiastic and committed fathers, step-fathers, grandpas and other male figures of students at Placer Elementary who help support students in the classroom and the school with outdoor supervision during school hours and on special events. Miner Watch D.O.G’s strive to exude great leadership and compassion by committing time and energy to the continued development of school climate and culture.
