Hello!

My name is Mr. Shebest and I'm excited to be working alongside 7th & 8th graders in science again this year! I've had the pleasure of working with middle school students in science since 2005. Before I started teaching, I was at the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!) where I earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education. And before that, I worked on submarines as a combat systems technician as well as a Navy Diver. I grew up in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, which is where the Little League World Series is held every year (I played soccer). When I'm not teaching, I'm usually outside riding my bike or hanging out with my wife, Amanda (Placer/DO alum), and our dogs, Oliver and George. I look forward to all the adventures ahead this year!
